In mid December of 2021, I dreamt of scattering dad's ashes into a vast & wild ocean. In the dream were 3 circling stingrays. I had the distinct feeling that all was 'in place' & I should have faith to follow inner guidance.  The quietness of the canvas was a place that gifted me the 'grace' to feel the depth of my loss.

I have pondered the significance of the triad of 3 stingrays & settled on: Harmony, Wisdom & Understanding. My dad valued heartfelt harmonious relationships; he had painfully acquired a deep level of mindful understanding on the many difficult circumstances over the course of life; & at 95 years of age had discovered a level of wisdom, dependent on the inter-relationship of head and heart. 

I initially created this limited edition of 25 prints, in response to family members being interested in having a copy. It has since proven to be a popular image, for others.
