Station 12. Salvation
Jesus Dies on the Cross

A Royal Albatross (Diomedea Epomophora) glides effortlessly on wind currents; representing that moment of release into eternal life, as we return to the ocean of Oneness. Having been with my mum recently as she transitioned I wanted to choose a strong flight image for this moment, to represent what I perceive as salvation from suffering & the enduring power of love. This image conjures Jonathan Livingston Seagull and his freedom to find & fly an authentic path. The Chartres Labyrinth lies underneath, an archetypal blueprint of our soul & life path that each of us has embarked upon. It reminds us of the continuity of life and to trust that the path ahead will unfold as it will.
