This artwork tells the story of the literal co-creation of a community Meeting Place - Bunbury Garden Labyrinth- it is our story, for our times about coming together, especially as we feel the shifting sands of challenge & change.

It took 6 years, & many, many weaving conversations & nothing is more certain to me now, that together we are stronger & more able to face feelings of uncertainty, confusion, hopelessness & fear, as we take one step and then another, by each other’s side. It’s not easy but it will be true.

Each circle a person, each ring of circles a family or a business that has been involved; all interconnected in their pursuit of common ground. A constellation of stars if you like, that’s how I like to imagine it. With immense gratitude for each of you.

“In these dark and uncertain times, there can be great value in imagining a bit of star in each human soul.”
― Michael Meade, The Genius Myth
